1. About these terms

The Neighborhood Platform is provided by Solvation B.V.. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@solvation.ai. Also read our privacy policy, which describes how we handle your data.

2. Account and registration

• You live in the neighborhood; you confirm this during registration by choosing your neighborhood.
• You provide accurate, complete information and keep it up to date.
• You create one account for yourself.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret.
• An account is personal and non-transferable.

3. Rules of conduct

When posting content and using the platform:

• No hateful, threatening, discriminatory or unlawful content.
• No spam, deception or commercial solicitation without permission.
• Do not share others' personal data without their consent.
• No attempts to bypass the security, vote integrity or operation of the platform.
• Respect other residents and organizations.

4. Content and moderation

You are responsible for the content you post. Content is automatically translated into the other platform languages and may be moderated automatically and manually.

We may hide or remove content that breaches these terms, and limit your options upon repeated violations. You can appeal a moderation decision.

5. Voting

Votes are fully anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. A cast vote is final and cannot be changed. Manipulating votes is not allowed.

6. Your content and rights

The content you post remains yours. You grant us permission to display, translate and distribute it within the neighborhood context. When you delete your account, your personal data is erased and your comments anonymized.

Events are publicly visible up to 6 months back. After 6 months we delete an event's images, sign-up data, reactions and saved favorites. The number of participants is kept as an anonymous total. After 5 years the event data (title, date and totals) is permanently deleted.

7. Liability

The platform is provided 'as is'. We strive for proper and secure operation but cannot guarantee it is always error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for content posted by users or organizations.

This limitation does not apply in the event of our intent or deliberate recklessness, in the event of death or personal injury, or where the law does not permit such a limitation. We are not liable for indirect damage (such as missed savings or consequential damage), except in the cases above.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the version date at the top. For material changes we will inform you at least 30 days in advance via the platform or by email. If you do not agree, you can delete your account free of charge before the change takes effect; the new terms will then not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.
